There’s plenty of things we could be worried about.
But we can choose not to concern ourselves with those. The worrying itself doesn’t achieve anything. We have to accept that lots of things are going to happen and there’s nothing we can do about them. Things we’d rather not have happen.
Of course we can choose to try and create a specific outcome. To do everything we can. But just because we do, that doesn’t guarantee success. It isn’t necessarily going to work out how we’d like.
We have to accept that.
Instead, we can ask a different question. What are we actually capable of doing?
Lots of things are simply outside of our control.
And no amount of worrying is going to change them.
