what's your why?

I’ve been asking myself this question a lot recently.

Why am I doing certain things? Why do I want certain things? Why do I act in certain ways? Why am I here?

It’s a similar process to questioning my desires, only the focus has been more on the present moment rather than some future version of myself.

Though one obviously shapes the other.

I’ve been looking at my behaviour, my habits, my thoughts, my actions, my time, my space. It is a constant process. It should be a constant process. This post is a reminder for me to keep doing it.

Once you’re clear on the why, choosing the what becomes a lot easier. Use it as an opportunity to explore your reasons.

Do they still apply? Or have they changed? Should your actions change as well?
