Stress isn’t just created by the things that you choose to do.
There’s also everything you’re choosing not to do. There’s the opportunity cost associated with making every decision.
We’re forced to weigh up our options. What might we be missing out on? Would it have been better if we’d chosen to do this rather than that?
What is driving those decisions?
We’d like to think it’s always down to us, that we’re in control.
But there are plenty of people who are motivated to make our decisions for us, who are motivated to try and change our behaviour.
Can we teach ourselves to be contented with our choices?
Or is it an endless struggle for satisfaction?
