Growth occurs when we challenge ourselves.
If we don’t keep pushing, we stagnate. We find a place where everything is straightforward and then we stay there. It can be tempting just to settle for how things are. It’s the easy option.
But it isn’t the rewarding one.
The rewards come when we’re willing to experience discomfort. When we’re unwilling to accept the status quo or the limitations of our current situation. When we look to push the boundaries of what we consider possible.
That discomfort is where the important work is done. The things that are really worth doing.
Find the limit of your comfort zone. And then step outside it.
