A particular dogmatic view about how the world works. About what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s true and what’s false.
Everything is simply a theory though, nothing more.
Given the available evidence, this is what we currently believe. If the evidence supports something different however, if it can be reasoned or proven otherwise, that position should necessarily be open to change.
By limiting the scope of our studies, we don’t give ourselves the chance to have our opinions challenged. If we aren’t aware of any other way of thinking, then ours will always seem correct despite its potential errors and flaws.
So establish your theory.
And then put it to the test.
