What should I do?
Nobody is better placed to answer that question than you.
Nobody has a better idea of what the right decision is, of what action you should take than you do.
I think we know this instinctively. It’s part of our nature. We can tell when we’re trying to go against it, when we’re acting contrary to the way we ought.
We know what’s right and what’s wrong.
I think that some of that instinct gets educated out of us though. We get used to someone telling us what the answer is. We get used to being told what we need to know.
We have to relearn how to figure things out for ourselves.
And we have to be very sceptical of anyone who says they have all the answers, of anybody who says they know how we must behave.
The answers to the important questions aren’t going to be handed to us on a plate.
We have to stop looking for the easy solution.
