To be well rounded seems on the surface like it would be beneficial.
But is it?
Who gets to define what well rounded means? Who’s setting the rules?
Is there anything inherently better about knowing a little about a lot of different things? Or are you better off fully immersing yourself in one thing at a time?
This isn’t to say that you should never deviate from one path. Keep asking whether what you’re doing is taking you in the direction you want to go.
Whilst it is, go all in and don’t be afraid of what you’re missing out on.
Don’t be afraid of what you aren’t learning about.
Be happy that you’re fully focused on learning something.
