what are your options?

What are your options?

You can either do this or this.

Is that it? Do we really only have two choices? It might often look that way but in reality, when we really think about it, there are often plenty that we’re missing.

We can add do nothing to that list straight away. Plus do something crazy and completely unrelated. So there’s four.

How about a combination of the two we first identified? There’s numerous iterations available to us there. Taking the best bits of both to work around the compromises of each.

Now, what about the options we ruled out when we came up with the first two?

Why did we discard those?

Are we creating barriers where there aren’t any? Do we simply not have an idea of what is actually possible? What can’t we see?

Once we answer these questions we can try again.
