finding what's missing

Do you think there’s anything missing from your life? What about any opportunities you feel you’ve missed out on in the past? Is that even a meaningful question? Is there any possible way we can answer that?

I’m not sure there is.

There are always going to be things we have chosen not to do. Every time we make any sort of decision, we opt to miss out on hundreds of other potential opportunities. Who knows what things would be like if we’d made a different choice.

There is also an inherent inability to comprehend circumstances we haven’t experienced. We can’t know what it might have felt like. And similarly, once we have experienced something, there’s no way of telling what it would be like to never have done it.

We are all the product of our unique combination of adventures.

Be ok with having missed out on the many so that you can focus on a few.
