What are you trying to hide?
We create an idea of who we want to be. Of how we want to be seen.
This can cause us to change the way we behave. To conceal or temper a particular aspect of who we are. Or perhaps to exaggerate another part.
It often belies a deeper issue.
This mindset alters the way we perceive the world. How we see opportunity and challenges.
When we overly identify with one specific concept, with one ideal set of traits, with one absolute personality, we lose sight of our capacity to grow and adapt.
Instead, be true to yourself and realise that it’s a long, slow process. Be sincere about what defines you and what interests you.
Don’t pretend. Just keep heading in the direction you want and you will get there.
