lemonade for sale

You’ve heard that people like lemonade.

So you think, I can make lemonade and people will buy it.

You set up a stand and you wait for your customers to come along.

But you could do so much better than that.

What do people really want from their lemonade?

Do they want it whenever you feel like making it, wherever you happen to be at the time?

Or would they rather you asked them when they need it, that you talked to them about where they were and how you could get the lemonade there instead?

Do they want whatever lemonade you’ve made?

Or would they rather you consulted them first, to find out what they’d prefer?

Cloudy? Clear? Sparkling? Still? Bottled? On tap?

You could just make lemonade.

But why would you do that?
