Why are things done that way?
Why is that the way we act? Why is that the way we respond? Why is that how it happens?
That’s just the way it is.
That’s not a good enough answer.
We shouldn’t settle for the status quo, we shouldn’t simply pick the normal response.
If there’s no good reason for doing things one way, then we need to find another.
A different way. A better way.
One that stands up to examination.
So when someone asks why things are done that way, we’re able to explain.
