We have ways we want to behave.
Things we want to do. Things we want to avoid.
Every time we give in to what we want to avoid, we make it harder for ourselves in the future.
Like a wound we don’t allow to fully heal, it takes longer and longer to get back to full strength. It might even get to the stage where we’ll never be able to return to how things originally were.
We need to remember this every time we think about letting our behaviour slip.
If we give in now, will we be able to stop ourselves next time?
