Everything is a game with rules, spoken and unspoken.
It’s a play, with actors, settings and scenes.
Each of us has our role to play. We are given certain props and asked to interact with certain other characters.
And one day we’ll be taken off the stage.
It’s tempting to look at others, to compare our role to theirs, to compare our props to theirs.
But it’s a meaningless comparison.
This is the character we’ve been chosen to play. Set about playing them with all your being.
And let the other actors get on with their parts.
