no place like home

Where is home to you?

Is it where you were born? Is it where you live now?

Why there rather than some other place?

What is home now might seem completely alien to us some day.

Home is just the name we give somewhere.

The word implies a sense of familiarity, of comfort. It meets a certain set of expectations, it serves a certain purpose.

At different points in our lives though, different places will serve different purposes.

None of those characteristics are unique. There is no reason we can’t feel at home anywhere in the world.

The reasons are dependent on us. We create the impressions, we create the judgments.

There’s nothing stopping us being at home, wherever we are.

There’s nothing stopping us doing the work we were made to do.
