a means to an end

It might not be exactly what you had in mind. It might not be the perfect solution.

But that doesn’t matter.

It doesn’t have to be. It doesn’t have to be everything you want straight away.

It might be something a little bit different to what you imagined. It might mean making a compromise.

So long as it’s not making you worse, that shouldn’t concern you.

You have to define what’s acceptable and what’s not. To weigh the costs up against the benefits.

And if you can justify it on those terms, then press on.
