We only have so much capacity for making good quality decisions each day.
Beyond that, our ability to parse information and act upon it diminishes. We compromise. We rush things. We’re less discerning about our choices.
Every day we have to make decisions that will matter.
But if we’re at our limit, the outcomes might be less than ideal.
So what can we do?
Remove as many simple decisions as possible.
Identify the reoccurring decisions and decide what your acceptable threshold is in terms of results. Form habits. What games can you opt out of? What things are just not important to you?
Once those are out of the way, you’ll have more time for the stuff that really makes a difference.
