Markets change.

What used to be good enough no longer warrants any attention. What used to be exceptional becomes average.

It becomes the minimum requirement.

The barrier for entry gets lower and lower.

What have you got that sets you apart? What have you got that’s worth talking about?

I think this is an intrinsic characteristic of any business, of any sector.

Maybe not.

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe there is a way to opt out.

Or maybe that comes from finding your own unique perspective.
