What have you achieved in your life so far?

Not what are you going to achieve, not what are you planning on doing, what have you actually done?

If your life ended tomorrow, would you be happy with what you’ve done?

I think this is a valuable way to put things into perspective. It can be easy to get caught up in what we’re going to do rather than thinking based on what we’ve actually done.

It can also be very easy to compare the visible achievements of someone else with our unlimited potential.

But that’s not a fair comparison.

When it comes down to it, nobody really knows what you’re thinking but you. Other people just don’t have access to that information.

So take a look at what you’ve done and see how you feel.

If it doesn’t quite look as good as you’d hoped, maybe it’s time to start doing something about it.
